Bespoke production
RAYFILM labels are produced from carefully selected self-adhesive materials in wide assortment as for label sizes and shapes. Nevertheless it can happen that a customer requires completely different size, packaging, shape or material. We can arrange all individual requirements as bespoke production.
Current possibilities
- Classical die-cutting with die-cutting tools on rolls up to 450 mm width
- Classical die-cutting with die-cutting tools in formats A5, A4, A3, A2, SRA3
- Digital cutting on rolls – up to 350 mm width
- Digital cutting on format – up to the size 350 x 1000 mm – from April 2014 SRA3 format)
- Digital UV printing
- Enormously wide range of materials from esteemed European suppliers
- Non-standard packaging according to customer´s requirements
- Small-run production of cardboard boxes
- Arranging the production of coated cardboard boxes in cooperation with Rayfilm business partners
- Possibility of 2 coloured flexo imprinting
Standard bespoke production
Rayfilm produces labels on rotary die-cutting machines either from a roll into a roll or from a roll into sheets.
Photopapers in sheets are converted on rotary cutting machines or on the sheeter.
Photopapers in rolls are converted on cross cutter – the slitter.

Digital laser cutting
Rayfilm can produce labels on the digital laser cutting machine which instead of using die-cutting tools works with its direct laser beam. The labels are produced from a reel to a reel or from a reel to sheets – without the need of buying a new die-cutting tool. It is also possible to cut T-shirt transfer films and cardboard cartons.
RAYFILM RAYFILM has been producing labels since 1997 and keeps following trends in the production and meeting customers´ requirements. High costs of new die-cutting tools do not allow us be flexible when it comes to the customer´s short-run production. Implementing of digital laser cutting technology enables us promptly meet customers´requirements as for special label shapes or label sizes short-run production. Such labels can be then imprinted in full colour on production machine for the price from 4 CZK/A4.
Labels in sheets
- Maximum label size 210 x 297 mm for A4 sheet
- Maximum label size 225 x 320 mm for SRA4 sheet
- Maximum labels size 340 x 900 mm for special formats
- Any label shape defined by the line/curve sent in a file as EPS, CDR, AI, PDF
- Availability of ïmprinting on digital production machine
Labels on rolls
- Maximum roll width 350 mm
- Maximum label size UNLIMITED since may 2014
- Any label shape defined by the line/curve
- UV imprinting in fullcolour with the possibility of white colour printing (to be coming)
Digital printing
Rayfilm offers label printing by UV technology – on rolls in cooperation on UV AGFA machine – or printing on sheets on Rayfilm own production CANON machine.
Production printing enables label printing from 1 sheet.
Exact colour presentation and colour stability.
Suitable for printing paper and synthetic labels.
Printing from formats A5 up to SRA3 (320x450 mm).
